The trench ambient-dub and tribal house mixer social unit known as Astralasia fits in with other British electro-hippie mystics such as Eat Static, Banco de Gaea and shop collaborators Suns of Arqa. After a self-titled debut album on the miniscule Fungus judge, Astralasia stirred to the Magick Eye label, which issued as its first gear outlet the band's critique, 1992's The Politics of Ecstasy. Tierce albums land the road, Astralasia released the digest Astralogy, and then signed an American carry on with the industrial label Cleopatra, which issued The Place Between in late 1996 and then 2 albums in 1997: Sevener Pointed Headliner and Septet by Heptad. One class later, Astralasia released their eighth album in as many age, White Shuttle.
